Danish Chess coffee table designed by Poul Cadovius in 1965. This rather rare piece of furniture was manufactured by the renowned furniture manufacturer France & Søn.


The tabletop features an integrated aluminium chessboard that can also serve as a checkerboard. The top itself is crafted from rosewood and rests on chrome-plated steel legs.


At the bottom, the table has 2 original France & Søn labels (see photos). The table has been lightly restored and is in very good vintage condition.
