Danish freestanding coat rack designed by Nanna Ditzel in the early 1960s. This beech coat rack was manufactured by the furniture company Kolds Savvaerk. It features a sculptural and playful design, with the round base providing the necessary stability.


The Scandinavian coat rack is in beautiful vintage condition with some light scratching on the wood here and there. At the bottom, it is marked with the date of manufacture (September 6, 1991) and 'Made in Denmark'.


Nanna Ditzel was known for functional objects with an organic, almost playful design language. This coat rack is a strong example of that: practical, yet decorative.
