Vintage table lamp from the 60s by Rotaflex. This UFO-shaped lamp gives a very atmospheric light.

The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. The plastic has a small spot here and there inside, which is not unusual for this type of lamp. They are part of the patina and are not disturbing.
Furthermore, the wiring was replaced, with the cord having a switch.

Rotaflex was founded in 1953 by Bernard Stern who ensured that the company became one of the most prominent in Great Britain in just a few years. Rotaflex has received several awards including the coveted iF Design Award in 1957.

The type of plastic used to manufacture the lamp was invented by Rotaflex in collaboration with the French company ARP – L' Atelier de Recherche Plastique. The ARP was founded in 1954 by Pierre Guariche, Michel Mortier & Joseph-André Motte and ceased operations just 3 years later.
