Set of two Cuba chairs (model MG501) designed by Morten Gøttler in 1997. This set was a limited early production run by the Danish company Poul Jeppesen Møbelfabrik. The license was later acquired by Carl Hansen & Søn.


The Cuba folding chair embodies contemporary design with its ideal balance of form and function. The cotton straps create a beautiful contrast with the wooden frame.


Both chairs are marked with the manufacturer's label. They are in beautiful vintage condition with a light patina. One chair has a scratch in the wood that isn't visible when the chair is unfolded (see photo). A small repair was also made to a tab at the bottom of the chair (see photo).
