Rare vintage cocoon lamp from the 1960s designed by Friedel Wauer. This lamp was manufactured by the German company Goldkant Leuchten.
The shade was made using a special technology called 'spray-on fiberglass coating', a technique inspired by the silkworm. Because of this, the lamp is also known as the cocoon lamp.
The lamp is in very beautiful vintage condition with new wiring.
