Under the motto 'Prevention is better than cure' (Prévenir vaut mieux que réparer), the 'Associoation des Industriels de Belgique' had various posters designed in the 1930s to prevent work accidents. These were clearly displayed on the work floor so that employees remained aware of the dangers of their profession. The designs for these Art Deco posters were realized by graphic artist J. The poster calls on the 'assistant welder' to carry a screen. Both the poster and the frame have acquired light signs of wear over the years, which gives the whole a beautiful and decorative patina. The poster is in the original frame behind glass so that it is protected and beautifully preserved.
