Bakelite lamp (type 11641) manufactured by ESC Zukovin1946 in the former Czechoslovakia. Designer was presumably Eric K Cole those other bakelite lamps were designed by the same company.
 
This asymmetrical lamp is a wonderful example of the 'streamline style' which literally means aerodynamic. The top cap can be rotated in all directions for easy adjustment of the light beam. This Bauhaus lamp can also be used standing or hanging (wall lamp). Thanks to the on/off button, the lamp can be easily operated.
The lamp is in beautiful condition with completely new wiring.
