Mid-century furniture model 36, designed by Arne Wahl Iversen in 1961 and manufactured by Vinde Møbelfabric. This high-quality piece of furniture of Danish origin has a beautiful design. It features 3 drawers, a metal planter, and a magazine rack. The beautifully shaped legs and handles create a Scandinavian look.
This piece of furniture features markings (see photos) and is in beautiful vintage condition with signs of use typical of its age. These include stains in the top drawer and superficial tarnishing of the zinc on the planter (see photos). There are a few small cracks in the wood here and there, but nothing noticeable or bothersome.
Arne Wahl Iversen was a Danish architect-designer who may rightly be regarded as one of the better mid-century modern Scandinavian designers.
