Scandinavian vintage bookcase designed by Borge Mogensen. This cabinet was made in quality vol teak wood by the renowned Danish furniture manufacturer Soborg Møbelfabrik.
 
The bookcase is equipped with 3 sturdy shelves with a beautifully finished edge. The cabinet is marked on the back as a sign of authenticity and is in beautiful condition.
 
Børge Mogensen was a Danish pioneer in furniture design. His ambition was to create durable and useful furniture that would enrich the daily life of the Dane. He designed for furniture manufacturers and for the Design Museum Danmark in Copenhagen. His designs were classic, simple and functional with a conservative aesthetic. His furniture is  highly sought after by collectors of applied art.
