Scandinavian table lamp designed by the Dane Michael Andersen for Bornholmsk Keramik. The base has a motif of grains all around. A pleated shade rests on the socket, which ensures a nice distribution of the light. A large part of the manufacturer's sticker is still visible on the base. The logo is also visible at the bottom of the plinth.

This Danish lamp is in beautiful condition.

Michael Andersen was a potter and started his business in 1890. In 1916 the name was changed to Mich Andersen & Sons when one of his 4 sons joined his business. From 1931, the Ronne city seal was used as the company logo, containing the image of three fish on a triangular shield.

In 1993 the Danish artist Solveig Ussing took over the company.
