Danish XL hanging lamp called 'Fibonacci' designed by Sophus Frandsen in 1963. This lamp is the largest model with a diameter of 61 (!) cm.

The hanging lamp was manufactured by Fog & Mørup at the time and was one of the most expensive lamps sold by the company. She received a gold medal (Leipzig Messe, 1967) and the iF Product Design Award (1968).

The rings in different sizes give the lamp a playful and timeless look. The diffuser at the bottom, which is missing in many cases, is still present here. This prevents glare and provides a nice diffused light.

The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with some light signs of use in the form of small scratches that are hardly noticeable.

Sophus Frandsen graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1953.

For more than half a century he conducted research into the nature of light and its practical applications and taught at the same Academy.

Sophus Frandsen died in 2013.
