Design globe floor lamp designed by Frank Ligtelijn in the late 1950s. The globe with a light brown tint was made in natural glass by the famous German company Peill & Putzler. The lamp as a whole was made by the Dutch company RAAK, whose name is stamped in the cast iron base.

The globe resting on a chromed metal stand is rotatable in all directions. This stand is height adjustable.

This lamp is in very nice vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The wiring was also completely renewed, including the plug. A small rod is missing from the base (see photo), but this has no effect on adjusting the lamp or its operation.

A beautiful and timeless mid-century design object.
