Design globe floor lamp designed by Frank Ligtelijn in the late 1950s. The globe with purple, gray tinges was made in natural glass by the famous German company Peill & Putzler. The lamp as a whole was made by the Dutch company RAAK, whose name is stamped in the cast iron base.

The globe, resting on a chromed metal stand, can be rotated in all directions. This stand is adjustable in height.

This lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. Here and there there are traces of use that are typical for the age (see photos). Furthermore, the cabling was completely renewed, including the foot pressure switch.

A beautiful and timeless midcentury design object.
