Glass bowl in grey-blue named after and designed by Alvar Aalto. This design classic was made by Iittala, one of Finland's oldest glass factories (1881) and specialized in design objects. It was mouth-blown and the organic shape is inspired by Finnish nature, with endless forests and beautiful lakes.

The shape of the bowl is identical to the Alvar Aalto vase that was designed in 1936 and displayed at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937. It has become one of the most iconic shapes in Finnish design.

This bowl is the smallest size and is no longer in production. The bowl is in very nice condition without damage and with a nice shine. Part of the Iittala sticker is still present. At the bottom it is marked with 'Alvar Aalto IITTALA'
