Finnish stool 'Pirkka' designed by Imari Tapiovaara in 1955. It was manufactured by Artek.
Originally intended as a seat to cool off after a hot sauna, the stool has since found its way into many (vintage) interiors. The frame is made of solid black-stained birch with a seat made of two curved sections of pine. There's an opening in the middle, allowing you to easily move the stool.
The stool is in beautiful vintage condition with light signs of use that are typical for its age.
