Elegant space age table lamp manufactured by Peill & Putzler in the 70s.

The lamp is made of mouth-blown white glass with black and red pigment. The lamp gives soft and atmospheric light.

Peill & son was founded in 1903 and merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947, continuing under the name 'Peill + Putzler Glashüttenwerke'. Throughout its existence, the company has collaborated with both important designers and other companies such as Raak Amsterdam and Massive. At its peak (1950s) about 1500 people worked for the company. In 2004, one year after their 100th anniversary, the company was unfortunately declared bankrupt.
