Industrial desk lamp designed by Ferdinand Solère in the 1950s. This lamp was manufactured by SOLR in Paris. The manufacturer's stamp is present on the lamp in several places.
 
The lamp is adjustable in both angle and length and height.  Typical for these lamps is its beautifully shaped diffuser that provides a nice  spread of light. The hammered paint also provides a tough look.
 
The lamp is in beautiful condition. Only the small switch at the top is broken off (hardly visible) but the lamp still functions well.
 
A beautiful but also very functional lamp!
