Large scale model of a Sabena Boeing 707 in 1/50 scale. This aircraft was manufactured by Belplast (Milan), presumably in the 1960s. 

Scale models of this size (1/50 scale) are becoming quite rare (less common than the 1/100 scale models) and usually have damage. Unfortunately, this model also has signs of wear; for example, 2 engines are missing (1 glued) and the tail was also glued again. The glued pieces are not disturbing.

A beautiful decorative piece of an important piece of Belgian history!
It was also the same type of Sabena aircraft that played the leading role in a hijacking at Tel Aviv airport on Tuesday, May 9, 1972.
