Beautiful school poster from the 1950s illustrated by Maj Lindman. The school card is part of the monthly series and represents the month of June . Performance is a lovely scene in the Swedish countryside. The sharply delineated drawings with soft colors on a calm background are typical for Maj Lindman.

Maj Lindman was born in 1886 and was a well-known Swedish writer and illustratress. She studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm and also studied art in Paris. She wrote and illustrated numerous children's books. Maj Lindman died in 1972 in Stockholm. To date, many calendars and postcards are printed with her illustrations.
