Set of Danish 1-2-3 System lounge chairs designed by Verner Panton in the 1970s. These iconic chairs were manufactured by the renowned company Fritz Hansen.
The fully upholstered S-shaped lounge chairs are mounted on a brushed aluminum base where one chair can rotate around its axis.
Both chairs are in beautiful vintage condition and marked at the bottom. The fabric is not discolored anywhere and is virtually spotless. The foot has signs of wear in the form of (superficial) scratches which are typical for its age.
With this set, get a beautiful design classic that is on display in museums worldwide, including the Center Pompidou (Paris).
Verner Panton (13 February 1926 – 5 September 1998) is considered one of Denmark's most influential furniture and interior designers of the 20th century. During his career he created innovative and futuristic designs in a variety of materials, especially plastics, and in vibrant and exotic colors.
