Set of 2 robust Spage Age design chairs from the 1970s. This model was named 'Casalino' and was designed by Alexander Begge. They were manufactured by Casala in the former West Germany.

Both chairs are in (very) beautiful condition and sit excellently. They were both reupholstered with a quality cherry red fabric. Both have the original Casala sticker at the bottom, which clearly shows that this is the version from the 1970s, not from 2007.

Alexander Begge was born in 1941 and has only designed one furniture range, namely Casalino. Inspiration for this chair was a patch of fog. Although designing this furniture brought a lot of joy and satisfaction, Alexander Begge decided to stop designing furniture. He followed a potter's training and started a company in the construction of kilns.
