Set of 3 OZOO 600 chairs designed in 1967 by Marc Berthier. The OZOO series was manufactured by DAN and distributed by Roche Bobois (France) and Ingo Maurer (Germany).
These Space Age style chairs are made in one piece in polyester reinforced with fiberglass. It was a daring design at the time in which the corners are softened and the chair takes on a geometric shape.
The chairs have signs of wear that are typical of their age, mainly in the form of (light) scratches. Furthermore, they are in beautiful vintage condition and there is no crack anywhere to be seen. They are also suitable for both indoors and outdoors.
These practical and ergonomic chairs are an iconic piece of design history!
Marc Berthier has won several international awards, including the Grand Prix National de Création Industrielle, the Compasso d'Oro, the Medal de l'Art et de l'Industrie, and the New York Accent Design. Several of his works have been exhibited in many museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
