Characterful stool from the world-famous brand 'Thonet'. The stool has light signs of wear, which gives it a nice patina. The seat has no cracks, only here and there little paint splashes. The Thonet label is attached to the bottom.
 
Michael Thonet is regarded worldwide as one of the greatest pioneers of furniture design. His participation in the 1851 World Exhibition in Chrystal Palace (London) led to an international breakthrough. He also won numerous (inter)national prizes and medals.
