Very solid desk lamp in plastic manufactured by VEB Leuchtenbau in the former GDR. The lamp has a movable arm so that you can move it forwards and backwards. The hood is also movable so that you can align the light source with more precision (see photos).
 
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition.
