Vintage cocoon hanging lamp in a more rare form made by Goldkant Leuchten from the 1960s.

The shade, reminiscent of George Nelson's 'bubble lamp', was made using a special technology called 'spray-on fiberglass coating', a technique inspired by the silkworm. This is why the lamp is also called the cocoon lamp.

The lamp is in beautiful condition and provides a particularly warm light effect. The wiring was renewed as well as the ceiling rose.

A true eye-catcher that provides very pleasant mood lighting!
