Wall unit with drawers designed by Poul Cadovius in the 1950s. These 4 drawers each have a  different height  and have a beautiful finish.
 
This wall unit was originally part of the Royal System wall system but was fitted with metal legs by the previous owner. As a result, it has become a practical and stand-alone wall unit.
 
The cabinet is in beautiful vintage condition; there are some scratches visible at the top and some small holes on the side. None of this is disturbing though.
 
Poul Cadovius was born in 1911 in Denmark. He soon became a leading furniture designer and founded the furniture manufacturing company Royal System in 1945. His big breakthrough came when he invented the Royal Systems wall system. He was also one of the first furniture designers who worked with plastic.
