These 2 rare AX chairs form a complementary and unique whole. Both were in 1947 designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen and then manufactured by the Danish company Fritz Hansen. The AX chair gave Fritz Hansen the international breakthrough.
Each chair has one graceful armrest so that they can be used individually or together. The use of different types of wood, namely a combination of teak, beech and mahogany, creates a beautiful and harmonious whole.
The chairs were expertly restored and restored before sale. Some light signs of wear testify to the history of these chairs and contribute to a beautiful patina. The chairs have been varnished several times by the restorer, making them completely ready for a second life.
