Rare mid-century floor lamp by Temde Leuchten from the 1960s. The shade is made of metal with braided rope around it. 
 
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. A (very) small bit of veneer has disappeared here and there on the foot, but this is certainly not disturbing.
