Rare XXL table lamp from the 70s of the German brand Peill & Putzler. This lamp is made entirely of mouth-blown glass in different colours. The inside of the shade is in white glass that serves as a diffuser.

This table lamp with an exceptional size (46 cm height) has lighting in both the foot and under the shade, which creates a very nice effect.

The lamp has the original sticker from the manufacturer on the inside. Furthermore, it is in very nice vintage condition. Only a small glass flake is missing on the inside (see photo). Since this is on the inside where the glass rests on the metal, this is not visible and therefore not disturbing.

With this lamp you get exceptional lighting in your home that you will not get tired of!

Peill & son was founded in 1903 and merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947, continuing under the name 'Peill + Putzler Glashüttenwerke'. Throughout its existence, the company has collaborated with both important designers and other companies such as Raak Amsterdam and Massive. At its peak (1950s) about 1500 people worked for the company. In 2004, one year after their 100th anniversary, the company was unfortunately declared bankrupt.
