Rare flowerpot garden lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1967. It was produced for only a few years (1968 - 1973) by the renowned manufacturer Louis Poulsen.

The Flowerpot originated during the height of the Flower Power movement of the 1960s. The name refers to that period and to the simple, organic shape of the lamp. The design consists of two hemispheres of enameled steel, the upper one being exactly twice the size of the lower one. The light source is shielded, creating a pleasant indirect light.

These spheres are attached to a chrome-plated steel rod. A ground stake is present at the bottom allowing the lamp to be inserted into the ground.

Considering its age, the lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with normal signs of use. This mainly consists of slight rust formation on the bottom edge of the large globe. This is not particularly noticeable and certainly not bothersome. The original manufacturer's sticker is still largely present (see photo), and the old Louis Poulsen logo is also still visible on the cable connection (see photo).

For safety reasons, the plug was replaced.

A rare lamp that adds a nice vintage touch to your garden!
